I made a glass in lead showcase for the model. It gives a nice open view
to the model. On the baseplate are two switches for the lights on the
model and on the back there is a connector for a 4.5mm jack plug.

This Blog is about building model fishing ships and everything what has to do with it. Most builds are done by me but when not I will mention.
I hope you will have fun reading and watching my blog and if you like please leave a comment.

Rigging is done
Busy doing the rigging. A horrible task to find out how all the lines
and blocks has to go and actually making them to do so. It looks like
one big spagethis to me sometimes.

After some hours all the rigging is ready

And I tested the leds (again) and thankfully they all work

And a temporally fit on the baseplate. The baseplate has a contact for the powersupply and a switch for the lights

Next time I hope to show you the final pictures of this triplet.
See you then (and after that for a new fishingship offcourse)

Rigging (start)
Lots of work done on the Pelikaan. Frontmast, deckhatches, blocks and
pulleys painted. Wooden deck, and a lot of other smaller jobs done.

And a beginning on the rigging. A very big job to do but also to find out how it has to be done

Red accents
Added some red accents. The ship's name on the side and the letters vD (van Duijn) stands for the owners name. Also painted the puls winches. For the (orange) pulse wire. This wire leads to the net on which are electrodes attached. These electrodes send pulses to the seabottome so the fish jumps up in the net. Much less damage to the bottom and less fuel consumption.
